Come along to this series of voice & singing workshops in the heart of Dublin every Thursday at 6.15pm-7.45pm. The venue is a lovely airy high-ceilinged room in the Carmelite Community Centre  on Aungier Street in Dublin 2. This set of 5 workshops will run weekly from 23 March to 27 April 2023, with a break on 13 April for Easter. You can book for the 5 sessions or drop in any week.

Drop-in is normally €18 (€13 concessions) but is only €10 on 23rd and 30th March. You can pay on the door on those nights, and any other time you drop in (no need to book but no harm to send me a message to say you intend to come).

These healing group singing workshops will help you release stress, express yourself and connect to others through song, vocal exploration and chant. These singing and chanting will open your heart, strengthen your lungs, boost your immune system and make your spirit soar. Through simple vocal exercises, movements and chants from around the world, we will sing our cares away, have fun and express ourselves. You will leave renewed and uplifted.

You don’t need to have any singing or voice-work experience and no one will be asked to sing solo. This is a relaxed, friendly and safe space, where there is no right or wrong way to use the voice.

Rachel has been facilitating singing for wellbeing, healing & community building for over 20 years, and has studied sound healing, ethnomusicology (MA), and travelled to many communities worldwide to explore the benefits of music and singing. She has also trained as a Singing for Lung Health leader.

Well what can I say the title says it all  – ‘Singing your cares away’ .When I read that sentence it stirred something so deep within .My question was could singing really take my cares away? I had such a profound healing journey with the women in the singing circle it transformed my life. It gave me the tools to truly help myself .It set me up to fight one of my biggest hurdle in life. To finally find my tribe has been one of the greatest gifts. Rachel is an amazing teacher and I am so grateful she continues to share her gifts with the world.
